A passion of mine is to try new restaurants and has been since I was a little girl. My parents told me I would request to try new places which ultimately brought our family to try different cusine in different areas.
I have decided to give others a chance to join in on my fun of experiencing new food, wine and friends.
My first restaurant for the blog is Adrianas. Recently, my handsome boyfriend Ryan and I went to Adrianas Restaurant in New Haven. I was told that their Panne Cotta (and everyone please hear me when I say that! that means no t's!) was the best around. I know that because a nice young coupe I had the pleasure of waiting on one night at Pasta Cosi told me I was missing out and that we were a very close second. Now, being all italian and growing up with a mother cranking out pounds of homemade italian cooing a night- I clearly had to try this pane cotta!
It was amazing. Ryan went to Assaggio and immediately wanted to replicate the taste! The 2004 Barolo of course was amazing. Too bad both of us cannot remember who made the wine.
I would say the ambiance was exactly what we needed that night, it was a quiet Sunday after my cousin's wedding weekend and we were tired and lazy. I was excited for my homemade pasta, but when I asked for rigatoni the server failed to mention that it wasn't homemade this night!
Fellow bloggers- order the same wine, REQUEST the homemade pasta, and definitely order the pane cotta!
